Manufacturing Business Process Consultant
Job Description
Development program for a large aircraft manufacturer in North America. The scope of work will surround rate readiness assessment and intervention at several key suppliers who specialize in the fabrication of sheet metal, machined parts and detailed parts. The resource will work on a team with 1 to 2 other consultants/contractors to implement a prescribed set of actions to be pre-determined by Accenture and their client. The duration of contracts would last between 2 and 8 months, depending on the needs of the client.
Qualified candidates should possess the following skills:
• 5+ years of Aerospace manufacturing experience, on the shop floor
• Deep understanding of Supply Chain and Industrial Processes
• Ideal candidates would possess at least a six-sigma green belt and/or an APICS-CPIM certification with applicable experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
Top Skills Needed:
• 10+ Experience in a A&D manufacturing environment
• The ability to perform/understand:
• Configuration Management
• First Article Inspection
• Capacity / Rate Readiness Assessments
• Planning and Forecasting
• Supplier Selection and Management
• Material Resource Planning tools
• Interplay between Program Management, Engineering, Production Controls, Operations and Quality
