🎯 What's your mission?
Ensure the timely availability of raw materials in the correct quantity, quality, and cost by managing the end-to-end purchasing and supply planning process. This includes sourcing, negotiation, order placement, tracking, and invoice reconciliation to prevent stock-outs and maintain uninterrupted production operations.
🛠️Here’s what you’ll be rocking every day
1. Operational Purchasing (End-to-End)
· Source suppliers and negotiate prices and contract terms.
· Create, track, and manage purchase orders within ERP systems.
· Confirm suppliers’ order acknowledgements and delivery schedules.
· Handle SPOT RFQs and resolve operational procurement issues.
· Monitor supplier performance and escalate quality or contractual issues.
· Validate and reconcile invoices.
2. Inventory & Supply Planning
· Monitor raw material stock levels and ensure adequate supply coverage.
· Adjust purchasing plans in line with production requirements.
· Coordinate with production planning teams to prevent shortages.
· Manage stock movements across warehouses to optimize inventory availability.
· Track material expiries and homologation timelines.
3. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
· Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
· Collaborate closely with Quality Control, Production, Technical teams, and Warehousing.
· Follow up on samples, supplier approvals, and product homologation processes.
4. Strategic Procurement & Management of “C” Materials
· Support supplier selection and qualification processes.
· Participate in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
· Lead annual negotiations for selected categories (e.g., low-cost, high-volume materials)
5. Reporting & Data Management
· Generate KPI reports and perform spend analysis.
Maintain accurate ERP master data for procurement activities.
✅ What you need to shine in this role
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or operational purchasing roles.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes.
Experience in purchasing. inventory management and production and raw material planning.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, cost modelling).
