This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.

At AT&T, we are reimagining the technology that connects people, businesses, and communities. Join us to help shape differentiated, simplified customer experiences across one of the most recognized connectivity portfolios in the market.

This Lead Product Marketing role will manage the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of marketing support requests across AT&T’s consumer portfolio, including Wireless, Fiber, and 5G Home Internet. This role serves as the central point of coordination for requests from local market leaders, regional teams, strategy functions, and cross-functional partners—assessing business need, determining whether marketing support is warranted, and maintaining a transparent master priority list that gives stakeholders clear visibility.

Key Responsibilities

Request Intake & Governance:

  • Serve as the central intake point for marketing requests from local market leaders, regional teams, strategy functions, and cross-functional partners.
  • Capture request details, objectives, timing, audience, geography, business rationale, expected impact, and required marketing support.
  • Apply a consistent intake process to ensure requests are complete, comparable, and ready for evaluation.
  • Clarify requirements with requestors and connect with appropriate partners when additional information is needed.
  • Maintain visibility into open, pending, approved, declined, and deferred requests across the portfolio.
  • Improve intake routines, templates, and governance to make request management clear, efficient, and repeatable.

Strategic Evaluation & Marketing Support Decisioning:

  • Evaluate requests against business priorities, customer impact, local market need, portfolio relevance, timing, channel fit, and available marketing capacity.
  • Develop concise strategic evaluations that summarize the opportunity, rationale, risks, dependencies, and recommended level of marketing support.
  • Recommend whether marketing should support, redirect, defer, or decline each request based on strategic fit and execution feasibility.
  • Partner with strategy, regional, product, media, creative, sales, and operations teams to validate assumptions and align recommended actions and marketing investment needed.

Prioritization & Portfolio Visibility:

  • Maintain a master marketing request list that captures priority ranking, status, rationale, ownership, timing, and next steps.
  • Prioritize requests using consistent criteria that balance business impact, urgency, customer relevance, market opportunity, resource availability, and leadership alignment.
  • Create clear visibility for stakeholders to understand where requests rank, why they are prioritized, and what actions are needed to move forward.

Stakeholder Alignment & Communication:

  • Facilitate regular reviews with local market leaders, regional teams, strategy functions, and execution partners to review requests, decisions, rankings, and tradeoffs.
  • Communicate decisions and priority shifts clearly, helping stakeholders understand outcomes, constraints, and next steps.

Request Tracking & Performance Learning:

  • Track request volume, approval rates, deferred items, campaign outcomes, and recurring request themes to inform future prioritization.
  • Capture learnings from supported and declined requests to improve decision quality, intake criteria, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Prepare concise updates on request pipeline, prioritization rationale, decisions, and implications for leadership and cross-functional partners.

Process Improvement:

  • Improve intake, evaluation, prioritization, and communication processes to make marketing decisioning more transparent, disciplined, and scalable.

Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of marketing, strategy, planning, operations, integrated marketing, or portfolio management experience in telecommunications, technology, consumer services, or a related field.
  • Experience managing intake processes, evaluating business requests, prioritizing workstreams, and aligning stakeholders around tradeoffs and decisions.
  • Strong judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make recommendations, explain rationale, and maintain trust across competing priorities.

Job Contribution

  • Serves as the central intake and prioritization owner for marketing support requests across AT&T’s consumer portfolio.
  • Develops strategic evaluations, recommends marketing support decisions, and maintains a transparent master priority list.
  • Operates as an individual contributor, coordinating across local, regional, strategy, and execution teams without direct supervisory responsibility.
