Baptist Beaches is hiring a Birth Registrar to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a part-time opportunity.
Shift: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm , Tuesday/Thursday 1:00pm - 8:00 pm
Patient Access Birth Registrar Job Responsibilities:
Under general supervision and following applicable laws and statutes of the state, collects and electronically transfers patient data in order to register births and provide prenatal statistical information on all newborn infants and their parents
The Birth Registrar is the point of contact between Health Information Management (HIM), parents, nurses, obstetricians, Department of Public Health and various state entities.
Experience Requirements:
1-2 years Medical Billing experience required
1-2 years Customer Service experience required
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma Required
