Risk Operations Specialist (Platform Trust and Ecosystem) - TikTok LIVE

About The Team The Ecosystem and Governance Team focuses on content ecosystem governance of TikTok LIVE business. As the middle platform of TikTok LIVE, we are devoted to providing solutions and building capacities for ecosystem issues from a holistic perspective. Our ultimate goal is to provide our users with the best user experience, and to ensure sustainable development of TikTok LIVE business.

1. Risk Management, Governance & Policy Enablement

• Develop and continuously improve risk management and governance frameworks across monetization and LIVE ecosystem environments.
• Identify structural vulnerabilities, gray-area behaviors, and control gaps, and drive mitigation strategies across operational and governance layers.
• Surface emerging policy gaps and ambiguous enforcement areas through operational insights, risk trends, and ecosystem intelligence.
• Partner with cross-functional Policy teams to advocate for scalable policy enhancements, clearer enforcement guidance, and expanded coverage where gaps exist.
• Build data-backed risk assessments and business cases to influence governance prioritization and decision-making.

1. Cross-Functional Governance & Strategic Collaboration

• Partner across Product, Operations, Policy, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and regional teams to drive scalable risk governance outcomes.
• Align operational realities with policy intent to ensure governance frameworks remain practical, enforceable, and responsive to evolving risks.
• Influence product, tooling, and process decisions to embed integrity-by-design principles and reduce systemic abuse opportunities.
• Drive cross-functional discussions on emerging risks, enforcement challenges, and governance trade-offs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Management, Platform Integrity, Governance, Public Policy, Compliance, Fraud, or related functions within digital platforms or technology environments.
• Experience identifying governance or policy gaps and driving cross-functional alignment on risk mitigation strategies, policy improvements, or operational safeguards.
• Experience partnering with Policy, Legal, Compliance, Product, or Operations stakeholders in complex or ambiguous environments.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to translate operational insights into scalable governance recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive action across cross-functional teams without direct ownership authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment in high-impact or time-sensitive risk scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with policy development, public policy, governance strategy, or regulatory teams within technology or digital platform environments.
• Experience in live streaming, digital platforms, creator ecosystems, payments, or online monetization environments.
• Familiarity with platform abuse typologies, fraud risks, or policy circumvention tactics.
• Experience working in global or multi-market environments.
• Experience supporting Middle East or Arabic-speaking markets, including the ability to engage with regional stakeholders or review market-specific risk trends and escalations.
