
Database Marketing Analyst
Job Description
Overview It is the responsibility of the Database Marketing Analyst under the direction of the Director – Database Marketing to provide in-depth analysis and guidance across the entire business in support of the divisional executive’s efforts to further grow the business, generate revenue and optimize profitability. Responsibilities Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures. Develop and generate daily/weekly/monthly marketing and other statistical reports and analyses. Coordinate and support marketing planning, including short and long term forecasting. Maintain databases for marketing and other statistical data. Continually expected to improve and support the annual budget process. Develops historical, current and potential future trend analysis. Assists in assessing and communicating marketing results to senior management. Supports review meetings with managers to identify and implement process improvements. Communicates effectively with all levels of management. Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned, weekend shifts required. Qualifications Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel--ability to create pivot table, formulas and VLOOKUP. Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate. Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results. Must have demonstrated ability to take initiative, be detail oriented and self-motivated. Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration. Minimum age requirement is 21. Bachelor’s Degree in the area of Finance, Business or Accounting required. Strong mathematical skills and data analysis skills required. Must possess basic and advanced mathematical skills to include arithmetic, algebra, graphing, probability and statistics specific to position responsibilities. Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
