Graduate Scientist I, Environmental: Halff is seeking a motivated entry-level Environmental Scientist to join our growing Environmental team as a Graduate Scientist I in our North Austin, TX office. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting environmental field data collection, with an emphasis on Texas natural resources. This role requires hands-on experience collecting environmental data, GIS mapping, and document preparation/reporting as it pertains to waters of the U.S. and wetland delineations and species impact and habitat assessments in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act). Familiar with ArcGIS/ArcGIS Pro and GPS technology.
