Mobile Developer (React Native) - Bangalore, India

Position Summary: 
The React Native Mobile Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality mobile applications primarily using React Native and Android technologies. This role works closely with product, design, QA, and backend engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile applications. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience building and deploying production mobile applications using React Native, strong knowledge of Android application development, and familiarity with CI/CD practices. Experience with iOS application development is considered an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

Mobile Application Development 
• Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications using React Native. 
• Design and implement Android-specific features and integrations. 
• Support and maintain existing Android applications and contribute to new feature development. 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA teams, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions. 
• Support application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across supported devices.

Application Architecture & Integration: 
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions. 
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and mobile platform services. 
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance issues.

CI/CD & Deployment: 
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile application build and deployment processes. 
• Participate in release management and application deployment activities. 
• Contribute to improving automation, build reliability, and release efficiency. 
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.

Collaboration & Team Contribution 
• Participate in code reviews and technical knowledge-sharing activities. 
• Contribute to technical documentation and development standards. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications: 
• Business-level English proficiency. 
• 2–3 years of experience in mobile application development. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline. 
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native development. 
• Strong experience in Android application development. 
• Proven experience developing and deploying production mobile applications using React Native. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile application deployment processes. 
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party libraries. 
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred: 
• Experience with iOS application development. 
• Experience publishing applications to Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store. 
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. 
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows. 
• Experience optimizing mobile application performance and user experience.

Location & Work Mode: 
• Candidates must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate. 
• Must be willing to work in a hybrid work environment. 
• This is a full-time position
