
Part Time Assistant Kitchen Supervisor
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Training
- Train beneficiaries on Kitchen Safety and Compliance protocols
- Supervise daily work therapy performance, including cooking and cleaning
- Provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiaries
- Ensure compliance with Health Department policies
Menu & Inventory Management
- Create and update menus using Cycle Menu Management System
- Maximize use of donated goods
- Maintain kitchen and canteen inventories
- Generate timely orders based on stock, cost, and needs
- Source and coordinate food donations
Operations Management
- Monitor canteen sales and card tracking
- Maintain kitchen log communications
- Execute Health Department policies
- Prepare for regular inspections
- Coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operations
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ServSafe and Allergen training certifications required
- Kitchen management experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Supervisory skills (oversee and train, not work alongside)
- Computer proficiency for inventory and communications
- Strong mathematical abilities for measurements and portions
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills

Physical Requirements
- Regular standing and walking
- Lifting up to 15 pounds regularly
- Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds
