- Support customer negotiations related to commercial and financial matters, as needed, including pricing structures, payment terms, securities, milestone schedules, and other commercial provisions.
- Ensure customer commercial requirements, priorities, and key deal assumptions are accurately captured, analyzed, and communicated internally.
- Coordinate and secure timely support from internal subject matter experts, including Legal, Treasury, Tax, Insurance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Project Execution teams.
- Review and validate project pricing calculations, commercial assumptions, financial models, and supporting bid documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal controls, approval requirements, accounting standards, regulatory obligations, and company commercial policies throughout the sales and contracting process.
- Support development and implementation of commercial strategies, financial structures, and governance practices that enhance competitiveness while protecting Fluence’s financial interests.
- Conduct and coordinate the commercial handover process from Sales to Project Execution teams to ensure accurate transfer of financial, contractual, and commercial obligations.
- Maintain accurate commercial documentation and support audit readiness, governance tracking, and internal reporting requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to commercial finance processes, pricing methodologies, governance standards, financial risk management, and commercial operations.
