Marsh is looking for a talented and proactive candidate to join our Marketing & Communications Team in Italy, based in Milan, with a focus on Digital Marketing, Communication & Campaign field.


About the Function:
 

The Marketing & Communications function plays a key role in supporting business growth, strengthening brand positioning, and enhancing client engagement across all business lines. Working closely with local and international stakeholders, the team develops and executes integrated marketing and communication initiatives that support commercial priorities, thought leadership, lead generation, and client relationship management.


About the role:
 

As a Marketing Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving digital marketing initiatives and supporting the execution of strategic communication projects. You will contribute to the localization and deployment of regional and global campaigns, manage digital channels, and leverage marketing automation and CRM tools to enhance customer engagement throughout the client journey.

Key responsibilities of the role:
 

  • Localize and execute European and global marketing campaigns for the Italian market, ensuring alignment with local business priorities and commercial objectives;

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement digital marketing initiatives focused on demand generation, lead nurturing, client engagement, and retention;

  • Manage and optimize Marsh Italy's digital ecosystem, including website, social media channels, and CRM-driven communication activities;

  • Develop and execute marketing automation campaigns, email marketing programs, and lead generation initiatives to support business growth;

  • Create, publish, and optimize digital content according to SEO best practices and content performance insights;

  • Manage the editorial planning and scheduling of social media activities, with a particular focus on LinkedIn;

  • Monitor campaign and channel performance through analytics tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement;

  • Coordinate digital communication projects from concept development through execution and launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards;

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and regional marketing teams to develop communication materials and integrated marketing initiatives;

  • Manage creative asset requests in partnership with the Continental Europe Digital & Creative Hub;

  • Contribute proactively to corporate communication activities, identifying relevant market trends, business news, and content opportunities.


Requirements:
 

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Communication Design, or a related field;

  • Proven professional experience in digital marketing and communications within a large, complex, and matrixed organization and/or a communications agency environment;

  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns in fast-paced and highly regulated business environments;

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing disciplines and hands-on experience with marketing technologies, including marketing automation, CRM, social media management, content management systems, and digital analytics tools;

  • Experience with web analytics and performance measurement tools;

  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills;

  • Strong writing and editing skills in both Italian and English, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and audience-focused content;

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Office 365).


Preferred qualifications:
 

  • Experience in marketing and communication roles in similar industries companies;

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms, particularly MPower;

  • Knowledge of Power BI and reporting/dashboarding tools;

  • Understanding of SEO best practices and digital content optimization techniques;

  • Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.

What we offer:
 

  • The position is offered on a permanent basis;

  • We propose a gross annual salary starting from € 36.000 for a full-time position. Depending on experience, skills and qualifications, we are willing to consider compensation above the starting salary. Further details will be shared during the selection process or directly in the employment contract;

  • The National Collective Bargaining Agreement (NCBA) applied is "Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi”.
    The contractual level, together with the applicable terms and conditions, will be determined in line with the experience and professional profile of the candidate selected through the recruitment process.
