Missile Mechanic Associate

Possess knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, missile structures and assemblies and shop mathematics. Possess general knowledge of inspection practices and procedures for acceptance of <br>parts. Ability to use all types of measuring and inspection tools as required to perform assigned duties. <br>Ability to work with hazardous material.<br>Ability to read and interpret Company and customer specifications, procedures and regulations pertaining to the assembly, testing, storage and shipping of complete <br>missiles or their related parts, assemblies and components as well as handling and storage equipment. <br>Possess mechanical aptitude and the ability to use general purpose hand tools. Skilled in the use of computers and ability to learn new computer applications.<br>Ability to obtain and maintain basic certifications required to perform ordnance/explosive processing operations. Ability to obtain and maintain a respirator certification and <br>maintain certifications/qualifications and/or licenses to perform assigned duties.<br><br>-A minimum of interim secret security clearance to perform job function and have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret level security clearance.<br>-Knowledge of shop math, basic computer skills, and the ability to use all types of measuring/inspection instruments & hand tools<br>-Must be able to obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications & operate handling/support equipment necessary to perform job tasks<br>-Ability to obtain and retain Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) certification<br>-Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 45 lbs<br>-Willingness to work swing or grave shift as required<br>You will need to be a US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance to support this government contract.
