Regional Medical Director- Hospice

The Regional Medical Director is responsible for participation in leadership to and oversight of physicians in the interdisciplinary delivery of hospice care, consistent with applicable standards of hospice medical care and the organization's commitment to quality end of life care. Responsible for the oversight and direction of the medical aspect of their assigned hospice care programs, the establishment of patient care protocols and coordination of the medical efforts in communities served by VITAS.
