As a Front Office Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, helping create a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they walk through the door.
This role combines front desk responsibilities, patient support, and service excellence. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys helping others, and is comfortable explaining healthcare information to patients in a clear and approachable way.
Essential Functions: (This list may or may not include all of the duties assigned)
- Develop and maintain proficiency in the use of the EMR System.
- Greet patients and guests warmly while providing exceptional customer service
- Answer patient questions and provide information regarding procedures and wait times
- Manage patient registration and direct guests appropriately
- Promote and educate patients about available services
- Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area and support front desk operations
- Answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and computer input
- Obtains authorizations, referrals, and verifies insurance eligibility
- Addressing patient conflicts and resolving them accordingly
- 50 wpm typing skill preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly explain information to patients
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Must pass a Drug screen and Background screening

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Required Hours: 7:45 am-5:00 pm, M-F
