Safety Mission: Safety Managements mission is to protect U of U Health Community, Facilities, and its environment through sound management, best practices, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Safety Purpose: The purpose of Safety Management is to provide systematic mechanism for identifying and minimizing hazards in physical environments, implementing safety programs, and providing safety for patients, staff, and visitors.   - This position reports to the manager and helps to coordinate the safety program and its respective policies, processes, and procedures. - This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients.
