 As a Technical Support Engineer (Zonguldak-Filyos) you are contributing to: 

  • Perform periodic system health checks (e.g., “System Status General Overview”) and coordinate rapid corrective actions for failures such as I/O card issues.
  • Execute periodic checks of historical system alarms and coordinate interventions with customer maintenance/instrumentation teams.
  • Handle and coordinate interventions for issues related to HIS, STN, SENG (in line with customer focal point and responsible units).
  • Implement DCS changes such as trend additions, logic/graphic updates, and apply changes through the Management of Change (MOC) process.
  • Implement ESD modifications such as alarm/trip setpoint changes, logic changes, and execute through MOC in coordination with responsible units.
  • Conduct ESD logic/status visualization checks when needed.
  • Support start-up and shutdown activities, providing operational and maintenance assistance.
  • Analyze SOE, alarms, logic and trends to determine root cause when issues occur.
  • Prepare and share weekly site activity reports in a consistent and professional format.
  • Ensure system backups are taken and stored on customer-provided virtual/physical machines; perform regular backup result checks and maintain records; provide periodic backup status reporting.
  • Review spare parts, support annual inventory reporting and track software license status and updates.
  • Optimize and improve existing applications and configurations.
  • Review project technical requirements, specifications and standards.
  • Train technical personnel (internal and customer, including on-site).
  • Analyze, verify, complete and translate URS into FEED, Functional Design Specification (FDS)  and system design documents ready for customer approval.
  • Be available for 24/7 support for installed systems at customer sites (including remote support and acting as resident engineer when required).
  • Provide life-cycle support for DCS and Safety Systems including installations, modifications, upgrades, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

What you will bring to us:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electric&Electronic , process automation or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the detailed project engineering, startup, commissioning, service of process control and emergency shutdown systems
  • Experience in control system application software programming and hardware design
  • Fluently in Turkish (preferably mother tongue) and English (min B2 level)
  • Customer focused, service minded, accurate and flexible
  • Candidates living in or willing to move to Zonguldak
  • Proactive attitude, team player
  • Excellent communicator, self-starter and self-reliant
  • Knowledge of and experience with software programs such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Autocad, Eplan
  • Driving license B required
  • Completed military service for male
  • Must be willing and able to travel

Candidates will not be taken into consideration who do not speak fluent or mother tongue Turkish.
