Medical Coder - Full Time

The Coder is a skilled medical coding professional responsible for accurately coding a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and/or emergency department medical records using ICD-9-CM, ICD-9-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes. This role ensures coding quality, compliance, and productivity standards are consistently met. Coder II professionals work with minimal supervision and may assist with complex cases, coding audits, and documentation improvement efforts. Promotes and adheres to the IRMC core values of ICARE (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) and G.R.E.A.T. (greet/respond/explain/ask/thank) customer standards.
