Title I Literacy Teacher

Greeneview Elementary School (grades K-3) is searching for a Title I Literacy Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Title I Teacher will work to support classroom teachers in an inclusive classroom environment and also tutor students in small groups to provide focused literacy intervention.  

Applicants must be licensed and qualified to teach literacy in the state of Ohio. Preference will be given to those who also possess a Reading Endorsement or other specialization in literacy. Questions and materials may be sent to Sabrina Woodruff, Superintendent, at [email protected].

Applicants must demonstrate: 

• an understanding of best practices for literacy instruction
• the ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels and learning needs in a small group setting while supporting instruction in an inclusion classroom
• the ability to effectively plan and teach lessons to meet the needs of at-risk learners
• the ability to keep accurate and thorough records
• a record of consistently managing paperwork and assignments in a timely manner
• the ability to work as a part of a team with Title 1 colleagues and with classroom teachers
• the willingness to be a mathematics resource for parents and teacher colleagues
• the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and peers
