This is an exciting opportunity to join Oxford University Press as an HR Business Partner, where you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering the people agenda for the business. As a trusted partner to stakeholders, you will work closely with leadership to drive key HR initiatives and support organisational growth.

This role offers a strong platform for professionals looking to move into a strategic HR position with end-to-end ownership of the employee lifecycle. Opportunity

 

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to the business, supporting the delivery of the people agenda
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle for 100+ employees, including recruitment, talent management, performance management, and employee wellbeing
  • Lead headcount planning and oversee the recruitment process, from identifying hiring needs to onboarding, ensuring attraction and retention of top talent
  • Provide performance management expertise, including identifying development opportunities to strengthen workforce capability
  • Collaborate with managers to improve employee productivity and efficiency in alignment with business goals
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture
  • Support business transformation initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Contribute to organisational growth by executing HR strategies aligned with expansion plans
  • Manage pay reviews, incentive plans, and bonus cycles in line with agreed SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies, maintaining a fair and equitable work environment

 

About You

 

Essential Criteria

  • MBA / PGDM in Human Resources
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory requirements
  • Proven recruitment experience
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
