
Therapist at School Based Services - Full Time
Job Description
Join Wasatch Behavioral Health and make a meaningful impact in your community as a Full-Time Therapist in our School-Based Program serving students throughout the Alpine School District. This onsite role offers a unique opportunity to provide mental health services directly within school and community settings, helping children and adolescents overcome behavioral health challenges that may be affecting their academic, social, and emotional success. As a therapist, you will collaborate with students, families, educators, and community partners to deliver compassionate, family-centered care that promotes resilience, well-being, and long-term growth. Fully licensed therapist preferred (LCSW, CMHC, LMFT)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $28.50–$44.03 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a School Based Therapist
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy services within school settings
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and discharge planning
- Maintain and manage an assigned caseload while ensuring timely documentation
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans focused on student success
- Support adolescents navigating emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Participate in school-based events, meetings, and resource nights as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
- Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
- Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
