Job Description

Primary Goals & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Sales organization and Management Team during the sales cycle to provide technical expertise and relevant industry experience

• Present the technical aspects of the products during customer calls (in-person or via the web)

• Develop, test and give demonstrations to customers in conjunction with sales and engineering

• Partner with sales and engineering to determine, plan and execute customer proof of concept testing

• Provide product feedback and feature enhancement suggestions to Product Management

• Support product releases by contributing to QA testing and input to product readiness

• Provide assistance with the design and provision of training to both technical and non-technical customers 

• Add to knowledge bases, FAQ repositories and other technical information resources appropriate to the industry and product

• Assist with project delivery documentation


Skills and Experience

• 5+ years customer and/or partner technical sales support

• Proven experience creating and operating technical demonstrations

• Understanding of industrial technology a strong advantage (e.g. SCADA systems, manufacturing technical operations and networks, power generation networks etc)

• Understanding of security technology, particularly encryption and VPN an advantage

• Experience writing complex technical proposals and responding to RFPs

• Strong oral and presentation communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in technology preferred
