VINYL VIC/BUCK LINE 4 - FRAMES ASSEMBLY

FRAMES ASSEMBLY Order Processing Review work order, including special instructions, or required number of pieces from Lead Hand Retrieve all components from storage locations   Preparation of Material  Distinguish between types of material Cut raw material to size as required   Housekeeping  Keep work area clean Maintain a safe workplace   Material Handling  Place raw material in proper storage location Place finished goods in proper storage location   Quality Control Inspections  Use measuring tape to ensure product meets customer/company requirements Ensure proper angle cuts as required Inspect product for proper surface finish / defects Ensure product meets customer and company specifications Advise Lead Hand of any quality issues / defects Perform adjustments / repairs where required   Vinyl Frame Insert vinyl cap, as required and cut to size Drill screw holes into frame Apply adhesive to frame as applicable Assemble frame and insert screws as required Add brickmould or nailing fin as required With a partner place assembled frame in proper storage rack   Production Reporting Record number of panels / frames produced. Sign off on all completed work orders.   Skills and Abilities Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
