Job Description
The Senior Presales Consultant is a hands-on, results oriented role supporting the Sales teams to close enterprise-level solutions sales.
- Work closely with Enterprise customers, Global / Regional / Local Accounts, Channel Partners, Marketing & Sales organizations to act as the lead for "The Company" Technologies, focused on driving revenues for both product and services delivery engagements in the defined territory
- The consultant utilizes in-depth knowledge of "The Company" solutions and provides technical guidance throughout the sales cycle to assist in moving opportunities from early stage qualification to closure
- The role is a mix of consulting and pre-sales responsibilities supporting a regional territory
- Assist sales in accurately assessing and forecasting opportunities.
- Understand and translate buyer requirements into a right fit proposal covering "The Company" software & services appropriately mapped to the client's business drivers
- The role requires PoC Demonstration creation and deployment with light consulting.
- Be the key product subject matter expert to determine how the product can be integrated into the client's overall technology solution
- Understand the client requirements to define a solution blueprint and system architecture
- Provide sales support by leading or assisting with new or existing customer presentations; provide demonstrations of solutions; collaborate with technical team to deliver a set of complex and/or integrated demonstrations or more complex proofs-of-concept
- Effectively communicate "The company's" key differentiators.
- Lead and drive RFI/RFP responses.
- Ensure adequate pre-sales information regarding implementation to develop a statement of work
- Build re-usable collateral (demos, decks, etc.) that can be tailored as required for other client opportunities.
- Document client use cases to build sales toolkits for re-use
- Assist the sales and marketing teams in Lead Generation Campaigns
- At least 8-10 years of pre-sales and/or consulting experience in an enterprise sales envinronment. software technical sales, pre-sales or consulting preferably in Business Process Management (BPMS)
- Good knowledge of Workflow Automation solutions
- Working knowledge of Java, web services
- Familiar with other aspect of a process application, e.g BRE, WS, Forms
- Possess clear understanding of the key industry trends
- Strong domain expertise in at least one key sector preferably FSI or Telecom
- Understanding of current BPM trends, BPMN notation, Process Design
- Experience with local customers in APAC
- A keen understanding of data structures and workflow to aid clients in project scope and implementation requirements
- Be able to talk specifics of middleware and systems integration with developers and IT Directors/CTO’s
- Willingness to travel
- Good written & spoken in English and Mandarin or Bahasa
- High level of initiative and the ability to work without supervision
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects
- Professionalism and willingness to constantly learn and share knowledge
- Good team player
