DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Account Manager II for our Industrial Filtration and Separation portfolio based in northen Mexico, where you'll support revenue growth and contribute to serving science. You'll develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers while promoting our comprehensive portfolio of innovative products and services. Working in a collaborative environment, you'll implement sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and provide excellent support to help customers achieve their goals. A Day in the Life:
- Manage and grow key accounts within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global Key Accounts, to deliver integrated purification and filtration solutions.
- Provide technical-commercial support for filtration applications across industries such as food & beverage, water treatment, oil & gas, and microelectronics.
- Lead the implementation of technical solutions to solve customer challenges and drive adoption of differentiated technologies.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI), monitor product performance, and provide feedback to global teams.
- Respond to technical inquiries and collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical experts.
- Conduct customer visits and provide field support across the territory.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Food Engineering or a related discipline (required).
Experience
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in:
- Technical sales or account management within industrial environments
- Industrial filtration, fluid separation, or process development
- Experience supporting production processes and filtration technologies in industries such as food & beverage, oil & gas, microelectronics, or manufacturing.
- Proven experience working with B2B customers in industrial sectors.
- Intermediate level of English.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% (domestic and international).
- Valid driver’s license required.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience in filtration technologies applied to industrial production processes.
- Experience in food & beverage industry, including filtration processes, quality, and production.
- Strong knowledge of filtration technologies (membranes, depth filtration, cartridge filters, etc.).
- Experience in system selection, sizing, implementation, and process optimization.
- Track record of technical collaboration, conference presentations, or publications.
- Experience supporting complex industrial customers, both on-site and remotely.
