Area(s) of responsibility
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud analytics solutions.
• Define enterprise BI strategy, data governance framework, and visualization standards.
• Architect scalable data models, semantic layers, and efficient data pipelines.
• Design and optimize dashboards, applications, and data visualizations for performance and usability.
• Ensure robust security, access control, and compliance within Qlik Cloud environment.
• Integrate Qlik Sense with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise data sources.
• Drive performance tuning, workload optimization, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Lead migration from on-prem Qlik environments to Qlik Cloud platforms.
Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive experience in Qlik Sense architecture and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Cloud (SaaS deployments, governance, security).
• Expertise in data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling).
• Advanced knowledge of Qlik scripting, set analysis, and performance optimization.
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Strong SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of APIs, REST integration, and data connectivity frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise-scale deployments and multi-region architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Qlik certifications (Qlik Sense Designer/Developer/Architect).
• Experience with big data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in BI lifecycle.
• Exposure to governance frameworks and data cataloging tools.
• Understanding of advanced analytics and embedded analytics use cases.
Experience Requirement:
• 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud architecture.
• Proven experience in large-scale enterprise analytics implementations.
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
