Job Description
The Planner Specialist will be responsible for analyzing cost trends across project builds, adjusting routings, and coordinating with finance to publish results. This role involves coordinating with planning schedulers on current WIP and expediting the master data corrections associated with job cost variances. The role is accountable for identifying and decision making in regard to the standardization of routings and work definitions, directly contributing to lowered costs, accurate routings, and improved customer service. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, proactive, and well-organized team member with a solid understanding of standard costing in manufacturing scheduling processes in an MRP environment. Strong IT, analytical, and numerical skills are essential, along with effective problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication abilities. A customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement are critical to success in this position.
