We’re actively seeking a talented A/V Technician to join our Desktop Support team in Newport Beach, CA.
How you will help us move forward:
- Works directly with business customers to deliver enterprise quality support services in audio visual collaboration spaces and technologies
- Provides technical expertise and training and support to all support staff
- Identify potential system problems and develop solutions/repairs. Perform maintenance and repair tasks on all video conferencing equipment
- Collaborate with information security, application and support teams in resolving video and audio technology issues
- Troubleshoots audio visual based products internal to Pacific Life and maintains quality level support and services around these products (Microsoft Surface Hubs, Meeting Services, etc.)
- Assists with large scale video conference projects while also integrating them with complex network computing environments
- Assists in the development with implementation schedules, test plans, and orchestrates training programs
- Assists in the installation, configuration, testing of equipment and software; SOWs, SLAs, KPIs, policies and procedures, etc. for area of responsibility
- Communicates complex details in a way that people can understand while collaborating with people at all levels in the organization and ensuring all stakeholders are in the loop
- Able to lead the QA and testing of large A/V projects with minimal supervision and must be able to work independently and prioritize work based on business need
- Remain up to date on current and evolving conference room audio visual technologies with the expectation of obtaining and keeping certifications current.
Qualifications:
- BS in technology related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in implementing, and supporting audio and video technologies
- 5 years of experience supporting audio visual solutions and products
- 5 years of experience in a technology environment support leveraging networks, voice, data, and video tools.
- Effective communicator with the ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders and with experience presenting the business side of technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Superior customer service mindset and solution delivery focus
- Ability to build consensus in a team of highly skilled technical individuals and drive results
- Independent and able to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
- Thorough understanding of audio visual and conferencing technologies throughout the entire OSI model (physical up to application layer)
Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
