Key Responsibilities 

1. Data Visualisation & Storytelling 

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools 

• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights 

• Apply data visualisation best practices and standards 

2. Business Intelligence & Data Analysis 

• Design and deliver BI solutions aligned to business requirements 

• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers 

• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort 

• Build and optimise dimensional data models (star/snowflake schemas) 

• Develop SQL scripts and queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation 

• Perform data reconciliation and ensure data accuracy across systems 

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement 

• Engage with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into BI solutions 

• Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity and alignment 

• Support knowledge sharing and contribute to a data-driven culture 

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement 

• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities 

• Stay up to date with emerging BI tools, technologies, and best practices 

5. Governance & Compliance 

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory requirements 

• Implement data quality monitoring and validation controls 

• Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes 

Technical Skills & Experience 

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field 

• 1–3 years of experience in BI / data analytics environment 

• Strong experience with:  

• Power BI (or equivalent) 

• SQL / T-SQL 

• Data modelling (dimensional modelling) 

• 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS Tabular) 

• Knowledge of DAX 

• Experience with data integration and reporting automation 

Soft Skills 

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability 

• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement 

• Attention to detail and data accuracy 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
