A multidisciplinary and growth-oriented opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid).
As a Junior HRBP, your mission will be split between translating business needs into appropriate HR solutions—contributing actively to the optimization of business performance under the guidance of senior HRBPs—and supporting the HRBP team across various strategic and operational HR projects. Responsibilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be divided into two core areas:
1. Population Management
Partner with the business to provide, manage, and optimize HR services for a specific organizational unit.
Advise and guide management on all people-related matters, cascading HR policies, Ethics & Compliance (E&C) standards, and national labor regulations.
Drive the execution of business HR plans and support management in analyzing and interpreting HR metrics and reports.
Ensure consistency and harmonization in the implementation of compensation & benefits, training, and recruitment policies aligned with business objectives.
Support and encourage the continuous development of all employees, ensuring appropriate consequential management when needed.
2. HRBP Team Support & Project Collaboration
Collaborate actively with the HRBP team on various division-wide and group-level HR improvement initiatives and projects.
Assist in preparing materials and data analysis for talent reviews, compensation campaigns, and strategic workforce planning.
Participate as an observer and support resource in local union commissions and labor relations topics to build foundational knowledge in collective bargaining.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with a strong desire to learn and a hands-on mentality. Is your profile aligned with the following criteria?
Education: University Degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: Around 2 years of experience in Human Resources disciplines (experience in internships or initial roles within HR generalist functions, recruitment, or HR administration is highly valued).
Technical & Digital Skills:
Strong analytical and AI affinity (ability to work with Excel, HR metrics, and reports).
Passion for driving continuous improvement, optimization, and simplification through AI tools.
Basic understanding of project management principles or experience supporting projects.
Languages: Advanced/Negotiation level in both English and Spanish is mandatory. Any other language skills are a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with managers and employees. A solution-oriented, flexible, open-minded mindset with a strong "take-charge" attitude.
