Job Summary: Episodic Technical Specialists provide technical expertise and hands-on support to ensure the Assessment and Analytics program and associated applications operate in compliance with Department of War (DoW) requirements. These roles support discrete technical efforts related to system functionality, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance during designated training, assessment, or development activities.
Technical Specialists operate independently or as part of a small technical team, applying established technical practices to resolve system issues, support system updates, and ensure reliable performance of modules across supported environments.
Primary Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the Assessment and Analytics program and associated applications during episodic events
- Identify, analyze, and document system issues related to functionality, performance, or data output
- Support system testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
- Document software defects using established tracking or ticketing systems and coordinate resolution
- Assist with system configuration, updates, and version changes as required
- Support compliance with DoW and SOCOM technical and security requirements
- Troubleshoot issues across Windows, Android, and iOS platforms
- Assist with data integrity checks and validation activities
- Provide technical guidance to program staff as required
- Support on-site and remote technical activities as directed by the Government
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and change records
- Adhere to security, access, and data protection requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience identifying, analyzing, and documenting software or system defects
- Experience working with SQL, Python, and Microsoft 365 tools
- Familiarity with Windows, Android, and iOS operating systems and mobile devices
- Ability to work independently and apply established technical practices to resolve issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance
- Ability to travel episodically to Government-designated locations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoW or SOF technical systems
- Familiarity with system testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
- Experience supporting mobile or field-deployed applications
- Experience working with secure or restricted network environments

Type of Employment: Part-time, on call
