Description:
Supports the department in Oncology Informatics educational initiatives to improve clinical performance in oncology services. Provides daily educational support for oncology EHR users, to include primarily physicians, Advance Practice Providers, and other nursing roles (In collaboration with Medical Informatics and Clinical Informatics). Promotes and trains on the specialized provider curricula, Supports leadership and Oncology Informatics Specialists 2 on all oncology provider related projects or initiatives. Estimated salary range for this position is $80516.80 - $107087.34 / year depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
- Bachelors.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support.
- Collab Inst Training Init.
Additional Qualifications:
- BSN-Bachelors degree in Nursing.
- CITI certification within 90 days of hire.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year Ambulatory Oncology experience, minimum 3 years Acute Care Hospital setting, and preferred 1 year of Informatics (or related) experience.
- General understanding of and clinical insight into ambulatory and acute proactive workflows.
- Preferred experience in training and competency validation of providers, including physicians, Advance Practice Providers, and other nursing roles.
- Demonstrated to be self-directed with organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Digital Imaging
- Experience with PACS system upgrades and project management
- Provide end-user support for Imaging systems
- Support Go-Live project implementations
Minimum Required Experience: 5 Years
