Level 2 Pay Rate: $43.98 per hour (as per EBA)
Join our Rosehill team as a full-time Production Crew Member and play a key role in the safe and efficient manufacture of asphalt. This role is ideal for someone with asphalt manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset.

About the Role
Based at our Rosehill asphalt plant, you’ll be a vital member of the production crew, responsible for operating and maintaining mobile plant equipment while ensuring all safety, quality, and production standards are met. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating mobile equipment to support asphalt production
- Assisting with plant operations and general production tasks
- Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Working collaboratively as part of a skilled production team
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential
- Mechanical skills – trade background or mechanically minded experience highly regarded
- Asphalt manufacturing experience or experience in a similar industrial environment (desirable)
- Competency operating Front End Loaders, Skid Steers, and Forklifts
- A strong, positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts as required
- A genuine commitment to Downer’s Zero Harm safety culture
