Pay Range: $72,876 - $84,000

Position Overview

The Warehouse Training Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily operational training activities within the warehouse environment to ensure associates are properly trained on safety, quality, productivity, and standard operating procedures. This role works closely with warehouse leadership to onboard new employees, reinforce operational processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. This role is responsible for leading a team of trainers across multiple shifts.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, team-oriented, and experienced in warehouse operations, coaching, and employee development in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct onboarding and operational training for new warehouse associates, including safety procedures, equipment operation, and standard work processes.

Provide hands-on coaching and on-the-job training to warehouse associates to ensure productivity, accuracy, and compliance with operational standards.

Support warehouse leadership with training initiatives related to inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving operations.

Monitor employee performance during training periods and provide feedback, coaching, and retraining as needed.

Assist in maintaining training records, certifications, attendance logs, and operational training documentation.

Facilitate both classroom-style and floor-based training sessions for associates and team leads.

Ensure associates are properly trained and certified on warehouse equipment as required.

Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the operation.

Partner with supervisors and operations leadership to identify skill gaps and operational training opportunities.

Support process improvement initiatives and help reinforce standard operating procedures and Lean practices within the warehouse.

Assist with developing and updating work instructions, job aids, process documentation, and training materials.

Lead and support a team of trainers or peer trainers within the warehouse environment across multiple shifts.

Maintain a visible presence on the warehouse floor to support associates and operational leadership.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required.

2–5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience required.

Previous experience in classroom and floor based employee training, coaching, and leading or supervisory responsibilities of a training team required.

Experience operating warehouse equipment and knowledge of warehouse processes required.

PIT certification required

Bilingual English/Spanish required.

 

Skills & Knowledge

Ability to train and coach employees in a fast-paced operational environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

Comfortable facilitating training sessions in both small and large group settings.

Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and operational compliance standards.

Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and reinforce operational best practices.

Experience with Lean principles or continuous improvement practices preferred.
