Job Description:
- 1 day in office, 4 days in field per week
- Account management and sales position supporting Accel Entertainment's growth into the newly opening Route Gaming market in Chicago
- Base salary $50-75k plus commission, targeted total compensation of $125,000-$175,000+
- Desired experience: account management and/or outside sales experience, partner industry experience also accepted (restaurant, bar, hospitality, etc.,)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop relationships with assigned account portfolio
- Use insights and consultative selling techniques to teach customers about industry trends; offering unique perspectives on how Accel solutions will help their business grow
- Leverage strong ties within Industry and Community to open doors and deliver results
- Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
- Collaborate with marketing team to plan customized on-site marketing materials, introduce and execute marketing initiatives with locations to expand their player base, and increase YoY Net terminal income
- Engage with account key decision makers 2-3 times a month; schedule quarterly reviews of location performance
- Develop new business with competitor accounts, with the goal of signing and transitioning them to Accel
- Schedule regular visits to establishments for the purpose of retention and revenue growth
- Regularly update Accel’s CRM system (Salesforce) with the latest customer information and use customer intelligence for account planning purposes
- Perform special projects and related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous account management and/or outside sales experience, partner industry experience also accepted (restaurant, bar, hospitality, etc.,)
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to interact with local bar, restaurant, and truck stop owners, as well as commanders of non-profit organizations
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
- Advanced problem resolution skills and negotiations
- Ability to create and manage marketing initiatives
- Core computer and Microsoft Office competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
- Minimum of 21 years of age
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including calculating figures and use of a keyboard
- Occasionally required to lift/push weights up to 50 pounds
- Extensive travel within your assigned region
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud

Base Pay Range:
Base salary $50-75k plus commission, targeted total compensation of $125,000-$175,000+
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
