Regulatory Program Manager III

Remote / Full-time

Your responsibilities

The Regulatory Program Manager III is responsible for ensuring that BSH is compliant with complex internal and external regulations that require BSH to implement programs to manage compliance.

 

They will work with trade organizations, such as AHAM, to monitor regulatory developments, communicate them to necessary stakeholders throughout BSH globally, and establish the processes and programs necessary for BSH to manage compliance in the most efficient manner possible.

 

This position is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of assigned programs in BSH Region North America, protecting our brand reputation and ensuring market access by assigning targets, working with all product categories and supporting functions, and leveraging global resources to drive success.

 

Job functions

 

· Strategize, implement, and maintain regulatory programs that support Regional Standards & Regulations and Corporate objectives through a cross-category / cross-brand approach

· Identify key internal and external regulatory requirements for cross-functional teams and business partners (e.g. OEM)

· Establish and manage processes and tools necessary for the success of assigned compliance programs

· Direct multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

· Ensure the legal compliance of BSH as it relates to the scope of assigned programs

· Produce and submit internal and external reports to government and other agencies

· Develop and communicate program assessment protocols and KPIs for evaluation and improvement

· Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders

· Perform risk management and communicate to stakeholders and leadership

· Actively participate in trade associations (e.g. AHAM) to maintain awareness of developments in current laws and laws that are being proposed

· Support Region North America Government Affairs to define and drive advocacy positions for upcoming legislation

· Cross-functional collaborations with other program managers globally to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the organization

· Perform all other duties as assigned

Your profile

· Four-Year College (Business Admin, Technical, or relevant) – Required

· Certificate in Project Management - Required

· 7-10 Years of Experience (Program or Product Management) – Required

· 5-7 Years of Experience (Project Leadership and Steering) - Required

· Skilled written and verbal communication skills

· Strong experience in BSH core processes (Product Development Process, Product development, Corporate and Regional Strategy, Compliance, Standards & Regulatory topics)

· Proficient with relevant IT tools (Miro, Jira, SDD, Polarion, SAP, Pro Codex, Homologation DataBase, Team Center)

· Intercultural and cross-hierarchical communication skills and self-confidence

· Excellent conflict management, communication, leadership skills, and assertiveness

· Experience in managing stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.

· Exceptional skills in leadership, strategic planning, time management, facilitation and organization

· Travel Percentage – 10%

Your Pay & Benefits

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

 Benefits offered include the following:

· Wellness Plan that allows participating employees to earn lower medical care premiums.

· 401(k) Retirement Plan starting on the first day of the calendar month following 30 days of service. The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit-sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.

· Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.

· Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.

· The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).

· 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).

· 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).

· BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
