Job Description
Steward | Bob’s Steak and Chop House
Overview:
This team member will wash dishes, pots and pans, mop floors, clean kitchen equipment and ensure there is an adequate supply of clean china, glassware, and silver.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the proper cleaning, rack and distribution of all china, silver, and glassware.
Maintains required standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.
Follow/enforce company policies and procedures.
Complete other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate.
Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times.
Excellent safety and sanitation skills.
Create courteous, friendly, professional work environment.
Must be able to work various shifts, holidays and weekends.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (at least 8 hours/shift).
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate weight.
Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending and twisting.
Must be able to attain a valid Food Handler certification upon hire.
Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.
