About the role:
The Indirect Tax and Trade Compliance team at Haleon is at the centre of how the business operates globally. The team enables Haleon to move goods, sell products and structure its operations across multiple jurisdictions in a compliant, efficient and commercially focused way. Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial and other key stakeholders, the team provides pragmatic VAT and indirect tax advice on legal entity structures, product flows and business change, helping the business manage risk, avoid penalties and unlock value across the supply chain. This role sits within the Trade Compliance and Indirect Tax team and reports to the EMEA Indirect Tax Lead. It offers the opportunity to work on complex, cross‑border transactions and strategic projects, balancing technical excellence with real commercial impact, and delivering meaningful above‑the‑line savings for the business.
Key responsibilities:
Provide VAT and indirect tax advice to the business on legal entity structures, products, and business change, supporting stakeholders across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial and Procurement, with input from external advisors where required.
Analyse indirect tax implications of transactions, trade routes, customer and distributor models, and supply‑chain changes.
Support indirect tax compliance activities, including VAT registrations, returns, reconciliations and data quality checks.
Assist in managing VAT audits and enquiries from tax authorities, working closely with external advisors where required.
Act as a trusted advisor to the business on indirect tax matters impacting pricing, margin, contracts and market entry.
Provide indirect tax input into transformation initiatives, system changes and process design to ensure correct tax outcomes by design.
Key Requirements, Qualifications & Skills:
3 years of experience in VAT advisory or compliance role.
Technical background in VAT and indirect tax, with experience in a multinational or advisory environment.
Experience supporting indirect tax compliance and/or audits across multiple jurisdictions.
Ability to translate complex indirect tax rules into clear, practical guidance for non‑tax stakeholders.
Analytical skills with a risk‑based mindset and attention to detail.
Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred:
VAT or accountancy related qualification
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and transaction‑driven tax data.
Both compliance and advisory experience
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Exposure to customs, trade or supply‑chain related taxes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Remuneration: 11200 PLN to 15450 PLN gross/monthly.
