Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Marine Yard

• Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Journeyman Red Seal 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in heavy equipment maintenance 

• Marine maintenance experience is an asset 

• Driver's license, and clean Driver's Abstract  

• Base wage: $48.56 per hour (paid weekly) 

• Vacation/Stat pay: 10.4%  

• Shift: Monday to Friday 8 hour days. Typical workdays range from 10–12 hours depending on project demands.   

• Overtime after 8 hours 

• Saturday, Sunday and/or Statutory Holiday work may be required as needed 

• Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test 

• Must be compliant with Kiewit Safety, Environmental, and Quality Policies

The Kiewit Marine Yard actively services Kiewit’s Canadian Equipment fleet. Yard operations focus on servicing Kiewit’s equipment and supporting job sites across the Lower Mainland, while also fabricating materials for various projects.
