Job Description
ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a full-time Ground Liaison Officer to support our customer in Little Rock AFB, AR in support of Air Mobility Command’s (AMC) STORM FLAG exercise program. The position is full-time on site at our customers’ facility.
Key Role:
Communicate with ground rotational units, relay ground unit intent to advise and mold Army/Mobility Air Forces (MAF) training events and real-time actions.
Translate Army terminology and concepts into Air Force verbiage while assisting in design of joint training events.
Attend exercise planning conferences and coordinate MAF exercise Desired Training Objectives (DTO) and Desired Learning Objectives (DLO) with participating ground forces to provide optimal training value for both.
Assist in developing joint scripts via the Master Events Management System (MEMS) coordinating joint events with rotational units, MAF flying squadrons, operational units and international/coalition forces.
Deploy to staging bases during Storm Flag execution as an Observer, Coach, Trainer (OC/T) and fill a critical position for streamlining communication between Army/Air Force/Coalition forces in accordance with joint doctrine.
Support in developing an assessment plan and provide observations for use in evaluating AMC participation and responses to exercise events.
Assist in drafting program budget request (PBRs) for contract support of GFLR JNTC exercises and events.
Assist in developing AMC exercise materials, documents, and support AMC/A37 in preparing exercise briefings.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 10-15 years’ experience in career fields identified below
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a government background investigation
Must have a current and active SECRET level clearance
Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in ground (Army or Marine) logistics, transportation, aviation, or field artillery
Must have strong written and oral skills.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years’ experience as a ground liaison officer (Army or Marine).
Schedule
M-F between 7:30am and 4:30pm Central Time
2 weeks of travel in support of up to 4 STORM FLAG exercises annually required
Shift work during STORM FLAG exercises required
Telework on limited case-by-case basis
