The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.

The Cook position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of kitchen operations and meal preparation within the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center program. This position ensures that all residents' nutritional needs are met and that all Health Dept. and other external requirements are met.
This is an exciting role and we emphasize culturally competent and nutritious food.
This role can be 4 x 5-hour evenings or 5 x 4-hour evenings weekly. This will require some weekend and holiday rotations.
We pay generous differentials for weekends and holidays.
This is a kitchen position responsible for menu planning, food purchasing, cooking, and cleaning at the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center, located at 2175 California Street in Denver.
