Location: On-site in New York, NY
Availability: Full-Time including nights and weekends
Salary: $120,000-125,000 per year
Reports to: Director, Hospitality & Guest Experience, and Authentic Hospitality Corporate Team

Beyond Magic Mike, FAL develops original, IP-driven live experiences across dance, music, and immersive storytelling.

For New York City, Magic Mike Live partnered with Authentic Hospitality, a New York City based hospitality group behind some of the city’s most revered venues (Pebble Bar, Jac’s on Bond, Ray’s), to create Greenlight Lounge, a cocktail experience that will sit adjacent to the theatre. Welcoming guests for drinks and bites pre and post show, Greenlight at Magic Mike Live will bring Authentic’s trademark quality, creativity and originality to an iconic environment.
Position Overview
The Assistant Director (F&B), Hospitality & Guest Experience is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and execution of all food and beverage operations across multiple venues within the property. This includes theater concessions, the Greenlight Lounge, and all event-based food and beverage services.
This role is highly operational and hands-on, requiring strong leadership presence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple outlets with varying service styles simultaneously. The position works closely with venue leadership, culinary teams, and event operations to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience across all touchpoints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Operational Oversight
- Oversee daily operations across all Magic Mike Live (MML) F&B outlets, including:
- Theatre concessions
- Greenlight Lounge
- Private and corporate events
- Ensure consistency in service standards, product quality, and guest experience across all venues
- Act as the on-the-ground leader during service periods, providing direction, troubleshooting, and real-time decision-making
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise and support outlet managers, supervisors, and hourly staff across all F&B operations
- Assist in hiring, training, and onboarding of team members
- Coach and develop team to ensure strong service execution and accountability
- Partner with HR and senior leadership on performance management and employee relations
Event & Venue Coordination
- Collaborate with events and programming teams to execute all F&B components of events
- Ensure proper staffing, setup, service flow, and breakdown for all functions
- Align operational execution with event timelines and client expectations
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Support labor management, scheduling, and cost controls across all venues
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and product usage
- Assist in achieving revenue goals and managing expenses
- Ensure proper cash handling and POS procedures are followed
Standards, Compliance & Systems
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational procedures
- Support implementation of systems, tools, and operational improvements
Qualifications
- 6+ years of food & beverage leadership experience
- Prior experience managing a bar, restaurant, or small venue required; multi-unit exposure a plus
- Strong operational background with the ability to manage multiple service environments Experience with high-volume service and/or events strongly preferred
- Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and scheduling tools
Schedule & Work Environment
- Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
- The role requires extended periods of standing and walking, light lifting, and navigating stairs.
