
Central Processing Technician, Operating Room, Cheraw
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates ability to work as a team member and to communicate directly and professionally.
- Must be reliable, flexible, productive, self-motivated and patient oriented.
- Must follow instructions for cleaning, sterilization and storage of surgical instruments, including all vendor trays and Mcleod medical offices and internal departs that preforms minor procedures using reusable surgical instruments.
- Is able to operate a variety of sterilization equipment.
- Cleans and maintains department work areas.
- Dons appropriate PPE before entering the decontamination room or handling contaminated equipment.
- Must have interpersonal skills: must be able to work under stressful situations. Ability to maintain detailed records of sterilization procedures, equipment maintenance, and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must have 1 or 2 years of experience working in a Sterile Processing department. Computer skills word, excel
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 80 hours bi-weekly.
