Warehouse Building Maintenance – Decatur, IL
This is a full time, hourly position.
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: Based on experience, range of $26-30/hour
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overall building maintenance and upkeep of three warehouse facilities. Employee is responsible for maintaining the facilities systems and warehouse handling equipment. Employee will need a valid Driver's License to travel between the three warehouse facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine, comprehensive, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Inspect warehouse handling equipment and racking systems
- Maintain forklift fleet
- Troubleshoot problems related to malfunctioning equipment
- Perform millwright duties
- Enhanced rigging duties
- Respond in a timely manner to service requests by fellow colleagues
- Ability to read spec sheets and blue prints
- Ensure accuracy of maintenance records
- Assist with snow removal as needed. A flexible schedule is needed during uncontrollable weather events.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (50 lbs. unassisted), bend, kneel, stand, climb and work at elevated heights
- Ability to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays
- Must have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and procedures
- Report all injuries, illnesses, near misses, damage or other issues timely
- Assist warehouse staff for the purpose of maintaining an organized layout and safe work environment
- Valid Driver's License
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Enhanced millwright and mechanical skills
- Actively participate in all ADM required Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs
- Promote the ADM Way and core Values
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Understand written procedures and write routine documents
- Strong reading skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Mechanical diagnostic abilities
- Millwright certification or extensive experience preferred
- HVAC certification is preferred
- Electrical systems knowledge is preferred
ADM requires the successful completion of a background check and medical clearance.
