The Riverside County Department of Animal Services is seeking to fill two Sergeant of Field Services vacancies, with one assignment being located in Jurupa Valley and one in San Jacinto. The Sergeant of Field Services performs the more difficult or complex animal control functions and serves as a lead person for one or more Animal Control & License Officers in the Department of Animal Services (DAS). In addition to performing animal control and licensing duties, the Sergeant of Field Services will make presentations at schools and to community groups on animal care and handling.
