Job Responsibilities:

Required Capabilities

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, math data, reports, instructions and guidelines
Proficient in MSA and SPC (Training to be provided)
Proficient in using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficient in using measuring instruments, i.e. caliper, micrometer, height gages, etc.
Able to use Brown & Sharp DCC Coordinate Measuring Machine.
Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
Able to prepare, read and interpret written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines
Proficient in personal computer operation and applications in a MS Windows operating system.
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customer
Able to safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
Able to safely use slings and hoists
Able to maintain punctuality and good attendance record
Able to maintain confidentiality, and use discretion and tact
Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Able to work flexible hours and overtime
Must display a can-do attitude and be able to work and perform job responsibilities with a minimum amount of direct supervision

Qualifications, Education and Experience

High School diploma or GE
3+ years’ experience operating a CMM machine.
Successful completion of AIAG MSA Certification Exam to be done within one year from hire date. If certification expires (e.g. every 3 years) employee must be re-certified prior to expiration.
