Special Education Instructional Teacher

South Holland School District 151 is seeking a K-1st Grade Special Education Instructional Teacher.

Under the general supervision of the School Principal and Director of Special Service, to maximize the learning experience of students with special needs in academics, interpersonal skills and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum with necessary modifications and accommodations; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs; providing a safe and optimal learning environment.

Qualification/Requirements:

Active Illinois State PEL with the following endorsements:

SCG3 - Early Childhood Education (Birth through Grade 3)

Or

SCGE - Elementary Education (Kindergarten through Grade 9)

LBSI - Learning Behavior Specialist I (PreK- through Age 21)

Prior SPED teaching experience and PH endorsement preferred.
