Insures the daily successful operation of the PACS and RMS interfacing with IT PACS and IT Business System Teams as required. Maintains quality assurance and control of images insuring the transfer of images from modalities to PACS for interpretation. Responsible for troubleshooting and relaying issues to PACS Command. Actively provides assistance to all IT team members to resolve technical issues. Responsible for new physician and employee training as well as annual competency training. Participates with future needs analysis regarding hardware and software related to RMS and PACS. Implements downtime procedures as necessary. Monitors Exception list. Performs charge reconciliation. Responsible for Quality Improvement and data collection. Estimated pay range for this position is $38.36 - $49.87 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:
Degrees:
- Associates.
- Basic Life Support.
- Minimum 2 years in an acute care setting preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree required or alternate technical path as follows: Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT (R) registered and/or advanced ARRT registry; State of Florida certified Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable) or graduate of an AMA approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography: RDMS/CCI/RDCS/RVT or ARRT registered.
- May be CPSA certified or eligible.
- Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (BLS) status from American Heart Association.
