Job Description: Refrigeration Mechanic

Job Summary:

The Refrigeration Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems in our facilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with ammonia refrigeration systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise. The Refrigeration Mechanic will work closely with other maintenance personnel to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that downtime is minimized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair ammonia refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems
• Work with other maintenance personnel to ensure all equipment is functioning properly
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
