Overview:
The role of the Server is to wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guest in any way possible.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of fine dining service.
· Must have full familiarity with menus.
· Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings.
· Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
· To polish and clean glass and silver wares.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
· To have dollies’ underliners ready.
· To fold various napkins for service
· Service to guests.
· Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.
· Clean and maintain restaurant.
· Knowledge of Micros Computer System
· Help other associates whenever possible and maintain a dedication towards teamwork.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
· Must have strong communications skills
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to multitask.
· Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
· Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
· Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
