Based in Hyderabad, this role sits within HR Operations, operating at the intersection of HR, technology, and digital enablement. As part of our growing Regional Capability Center, you will help build and scale the HR technology capabilities that support our global workforce—spanning platforms, data, automation, and emerging AI‑enabled solutions.

Role Summary

The HR Technology Configuration & Support Specialist is responsible for hands‑on configuration, operational support, and continuous improvement of HR technology platforms. This role will initially focus on Workday Core HCM, with a clear expectation to expand capabilities over time across the broader HR technology ecosystem.

This position is part of a centralized HR Technology team based in India that provides configuration, testing, and day‑to‑day support for global Workday modules, third‑party HR applications, and select AI‑enabled tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Configuration & Support: Perform configuration and ongoing support with an initial focus in Workday Core HCM modules, following established design standards and governance.
  • Ecosystem Support: Support workday and other tools in the HR echo system; assist with issue triage and vendor coordination.
  • Operational Request Management: Assess and execute approved HR/business requests, proposing alternative technical solutions when appropriate.
  • Testing & Release Support: Execute UAT, regression, and end‑to‑end testing for enhancements and releases impacting HR technologies.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve configuration and data issues; escalate complex problems with clear documentation and impact assessment.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain configuration documentation, process guides, and support artifacts.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Process Owners, COEs, Operations, and IT teams across regions.
  • Ticket & Case Management: Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through ServiceNow (or similar tools), meeting SLAs.
  • Mass Data Operations: Prepare and execute EIBs and other mass data uploads with a strong focus on accuracy and auditability.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, HR Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience supporting HRIS, HR Operations, or IT systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday Core HCM configuration.
  • Experience managing tickets, testing system changes, and handling data corrections.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure across the Workday HCM modules, including absence, time tracking, security, talent, recruiting, prism etc.
  • Experience with recruiting ecosystems and AI‑enabled talent tools.
  • Familiarity with data privacy principles and global HR processes.
